About Me

I am a retired Program Manager from the high tech world who has decided to spend more time with photography.

I have been interested in photography since I was a kid, but never had the opportunity to pursue it seriously. Now that I am retired, I have decided that it is time for me to start a new adventure in life and see where it takes me.

I have always had a camera around. I started with a little Kodak Brownie camera. Later on, when I was in the Air Force, I bought a Canon SLR (Canon EXee) while I was overseas and absolutely loved it. I used it for a number of years until it would no longer focus. By that time I had started a family so my priorities had changed and photography took a back seat to other more important things.

Since I retired, my wife and I have started taking long “weekend” trips throughout New England and New York. I decided a point and shoot camera wasn’t enough anymore so I bit the bullet and purchased a DSLR and started taking various photography courses. I have done a number of exhibits and created this website.

I love the outdoors. Whether it is a trip along the coast of New England or walking down a path in a forest somewhere, there are always beautiful sites to see and admire. I always have the feeling of being free and being close to nature which, to me, is a wonderful feeling.

If you have any thoughts or comments about my photography please let me know. One of the best ways to grow is by feedback from others.

Thanks for stopping by.
